MBB post today on Facebook (with pictures of the players)
Four players from our last three seasons are heading to NBA Summer League
Tyrell Terry - Dallas Mavericks
KZ Okpala - Miami Heat
Oscar da Silva - Oklahoma City Thunder
Ziaire Williams - Memphis Grizzlies
I'm surprised this is the policy and I agree this seems really generous for players who elect to leave

(The only exception being early medical retirements who remain on campus, which are honored no matter what.)I didn't know that was the case. I think it is a very generous position on Stanford's part. If an athlete leaves voluntarily after their second (or later) year, I would expect that the University owes them nothing. It was their choice. I wonder about other students who leave to start a business or similar. Do they get the same deal? I tend to doubt it, but I obviously don't know. If they don't, wouldn't that be an NCAA violation (if such a concept still exists)?
