Well, 

COVID teaches all of us once again that it is in charge.  

A reboot without PPE discipline, testing and tracing gave COVID more than enough to succeed.

Many were rightfully concerned we could not halt the economy for the second time, but that was the only choice left after we rushed through the phases and had far too many people, including our POTUS, not believing in the seriousness of COVID.

Now lots of SoCal indoor businesses will be closed again.  Hopefully this retreat will allow us to be much more organized when we go forward the next time.  

FWIW - That should seal the deal on Pac-12 sports, and public schools in August.   

Stay safe everyone.

It's not just SoCal. All indoor dining, bars, and movie theaters are now closed in entire state. In So Cal, even more, including barbershops and hair salons must close again.

In Santa Clara County, barber shops, hair salons, and gyms are expected to close Wednesday after being open for 2 days.  Even the slow-going Dr Cody could not eradicate irresponsible behavior.  A month ago, COVID was at a low level in SCC and not it is growing rapidly.

And hospital capacity in Santa Clara County?  How's that looking?

Today's front page article in Merc talks about hospitals (good); but if you read the article critically (as opposed to  just simply accepting the unwritten implications of the article) you might not get a real good picture of hospital capacity issues and where they may (or may not) be arising.
