There are actually two Comcast Sports Bay Area channels; one presents alternate programming and is only on the air part-time. (On my non-HD DirecTV systems, the main CS Bay Area channel is 696; the alternate, sometimes called CS Bay Area Plus, is 697.) I wonder if confusion between the two might be the cause of Saturday\'s problems.

Except that the Wazzu-OSU game was on 697, so it wasn\'t exactly black. at least on my satellite. I don\'t know if they started at the same time as our game, though.

Note also: There were indeed some technical issues at the beginning of the telecast, and once or twice they threw up a slide on the screen while continuing the audio. But if there was ever a blank screen, it wasn\'t more than a second or two.

I was recording the game and I thought it was my DVR. The only problem I had was missing two TDs because of the glitch. They showed \'em on replay, though, so no problema.
