Hattis and Hamilton want to play at tackle.  Right now, we have three guys who would start ahead of them (Little, Sarell, and Rouse), plus an incoming freshman (Hinton) who you have to think would also be in line to start over them.  One or both can probably be starting at guard, but they probably don't crack the two-deep at tackle.

As Sam has said, their desire to transfer to a team where they can start and play at tackle is understandable, and ultimately, the opportunity to start at tackle at ASU was more attractive than the opportunity to start at guard at Stanford.
