As far as the average quality of recruit, I definitely think this class is good. Better than last year. But the problem comes not just in the relative skill level of athletes because they also play on a team. The class also needs to be judged in terms of how it presently and in the future meets the needs of a team, which recruiting rankings often do not take into account (in either direction).
