I feel like until recently the team has been more of an east bay thing, and their colors certainly gel more with our rivals across the bay. But I'd definitely be game for starting some threads if there's a critical mass?
Yeah I feel the same way. Given how much discussion there's been of the Giants, why not? I agree that I wouldn't want to talk about the Warriors as much during the football season, but it's a pretty slow time of year and it's such a thrilling time for the Warriors.
I certainly would ask this informed audience for advice if and when I finally try to get some Warriors tickets (I first discovered this board when Googling for advice about attending Stanford football games). And recently I've been learning more about and increasing my appreciation for basketball due to my older son's interest (which, in turn, is probably related to the Warrior's success).
