In its own way, this game was a lot of fun.  It was great to see the young players (and Jos!) get so much time.  I thought Bonnie showed us some new moves and muscled her way under the basket a couple of times for an inside shot.  It was just great to get to see Nneka afterward and the fans gave her a very warm reception.  In talking about her development as a leader on the team, Amy said that now whenever one of the four coaches tells the team something, Nneka immediately speaks up to say "What Tara means is..." or "What Amy's saying is..."  As if the coaches need a translator.  She said it's like having an unpaid assistant coach.  Nneka had a lot of praise for the training program Susan Borchardt has put them through.  She said now she felt like she could really move.
