My biggest memories of the trip are that and the fact that Australians completely ruin hamburgers by putting on a giant slab of beet with the juice soaking into the bun.

+1000. Actually, they call it "beetroot", which initially makes you expect that perhaps it is something entirely differen't. Unfortunately, it isn't.
