Did we play Arizona in Japan 2 weeks before Big Game in 86?

Japan was the week after Big Game.

I specifically remember that because it was one of the few times in my life I had a comeback ready.  :)

After that miserable game I was walking down Frat Row in Berkeley when some asshat shouted out, "Have a nice drive home!" and I yelled, "How about wishing us a nice trip to Japan and the Gator Bowl while you're at it?"

(OK, I didn't say it was a GOOD comeback...)
