The pass blocking was spotty. But he makes it look worse than it is. He has a slow release and no pocket feel.

He didn't seem to have these problems last year (or against Rice, for that matter).  He did have some inaccurate throws, but I don't recall lack of mobility or pocket feel.  Indeed, last year he was our third leading rusher with 41 rushes, including sacks and scarmbles and 3.9 yards per carry.  Three things have changed since then:

1) He injured his knee, so maybe he isn't quite 100% yet (and that may be physical or mental)
2) The offensive line has regressed
3) The defenses we played at the end of last year (and Rice) were bad, so maybe his stats were deceptive

I'm not sure how I rank the three, but I suspect that all three have contributed.
