I remember hearing or reading that McKay said something about Under Stanford Control (again) alums hiring Stanford grads as they make good workers, or something to that effect.  It was clearly a diss.  The Old Gray Mare play by the band was classic and I had never heard that before.  The LSJUMB is already practicing for LA, so I'll pass that one onto my son tonight!

My youngest and I were in Southern California visiting a few colleges (UCSD, UCSB, UCLA) and I prevailed upon him to visit U$C.  He agreed, a little reluctantly.  We parked by the campus, and started walking around.  I don't think we're on the campus for ten minutes when he says, "Can we go?"  I said, "Are you sure?  We're right by the public policy building and I know it's an interest of yours."  He said "You can visit it if you like, but I'm not going here."
