Yep!  Not sure how you square the circle of having a game in Australia with a kickoff timed for maximum exposure stateside, but there are obviously positives and negatives to holding this game in a time zone that essentially requires another 10pm Eastern kickoff.  Not sure how many Eastern Time Zone eyeballs will be paying attention to this game.  (Though, if we're being honest with ourselves, how many of the same local sportswriters that couldn't be bothered to watch Christian McCaffrey in a night game would have tuned in to see Stanford play Rice if only the kickoff time would have been earlier?  Methinks not too many.)

Selfishly, I don't mind the 7pm Pacific kickoffs, because it sets up perfectly for me to get my kids to bed by 8pm here in good ol' Mountain Time and run downstairs with my Elway jersey on to catch the start of the game in peace.  That way, I can both hike (autumn in Colorado is pretty great) and have uninterrupted Stanford football time.
