I just saw this quote from the GW coach:
My gut is to say she is wrong in a couple of ways--we are more talented than she gives us credit for, and we are not playing all that well as a team. But is there a chance she is right? If she is then we are probably peaking and the league is going to be brutal.
Quote:"Theyre the best team weve played, Rizzotti said. I dont think individually theyre as good as some of the players Syracuse had and even some of the other teams weve played. What we said in the locker room is what sets Stanford apart from those other teams is that theyre a team. So the whole is much better than its parts. .â.â. We want to be in a position where were able to do the same thing once we step into Atlantic 10 play [and] be the stronger, fitter, more disciplined team. So I think its a good lesson for us to see that, hey, they might not player-for-player be more talented than us, but they worked harder as a team to make things work for them.https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/co...9098f28e66
