After watching those raid games on TV beyond 11PM  I am thankful because I really would not want to walk through Berkeley after midnight to ride BART close to 12:30AM.

Especially because the last BART train out of downtown Berkeley leaves at 12:30, so if the game went late for any reason you'd be cutting it awfully close.
