Good, I prefer a daytime game there. Got my tickets!

I thought the rivalry games were suppose to be available nationally?Â

I think you know Larry Scott's answer to that. (Dish Network and Sling TV.)

I will take Pac-12 Nets at 2:30PM over ESPN Pac-12 AfterDark at 7:30/8PM. UCB games take forever and after dark could easily get close to midnight.Â
The UCB story is pretty much known at this point by the casual fans of ESPN and FS1 late game broadcasts. Boring, slow moving games with loads of penalties and commercial breaks because of punts, scores, etc. The games have lots of scoring by UCB's opponent in the first half and then a few TDs by UCB's O in junk time.Â
With major CFP/Pac-12 storylines across many of the other Pac-12 games those contests should get the coverage.
Sure hope those alumni gatherings are in places that get Dish.

When's the last time the Big Game wasn't available on TV nationally? I can't even remember.

I'm just glad it's a day game, if there were a night kickoff I'm not sure I could go.

UCB apparently requested a daytime game. UCB had to know that the request would mean Pac-12 Nets. The (insert mascot name here) raid and Pac-12 After Dark apparently are a bad combination for UCB ticket holders. Bet Fox and ESPN were more than happy to grant UCB their wish since their games are boring if the other team has a set of DBs that can stay with the UCB WRs. After watching those raid games on TV beyond 11PM I am thankful because I really would not want to walk through Berkeley after midnight to ride BART close to 12:30AM.

Especially because the last BART train out of downtown Berkeley leaves at 12:30, so if the game went late for any reason you'd be cutting it awfully close.

Pretty sure both schools would've gotten an earful from their fans. Of course, the schools are happily cashing their TV revenue share checks....
Sorry, in a pretty cynical mood lately.... Had a debate about this with a friend who was on the Buck Cardinal club board and I was disappointed how much she toed the AD line.
