Gregorian was a great history prof, perhaps the best ever, at SF State. He got pissed at the '67 BSU strike and wound up as the head of the NYC public library and as a Hall of Fame socialite in Manhattan.

Gregorian was also a student of my wife's late grandfather, Wayne Vucinich.  After the NY public library he beceame the President of Brown.
