Not really a surprise when a big state school like Florida does well in this tally. There are a lot of congressional seats from Florida, and the people who are mostly likely to occupy them are, by definition, those who didn't leave to go to college.

I note that Miami/Oxford, Ohio has three representatives, and all three are from states other than Ohio; Washington, Wisconsin and Indiana.  Whereas, all three of Texas Tech's are in Texas.
