Let's stop talking about weather!
Stupac we know it's silly but who cares! Being emotionally invested in a game played by 20 year olds is inherently silly!
OF, I completely disagree with your assertion that we want Clemson to win this weekend. First, we need a non SEC champ to lose a game to make room for us. Bottom line, we need at least one other power 5 champ to have a loss, or we won't get in. ACC is as good as any particularly since the rest of their conference is so garbage so a one loss champ may not still be ranked ahead of us (they would have a better loss, but more recent, and have a worse SOS), and it's also unlikely that the other division champ will be good enough to beat them (since they're so garbage).
Also we don't need Clemson to do well to keep Notre Dame highly ranked; it's absurd to think this would make more than one or two places difference in the rankings. Bottom line, if ND keeps winning until they play us, they will be plenty highly ranked.
Yes, a one loss FSU champ would still have an argument against us, but at least it's a discussion, and at least they still have a tough game against Florida that they could lose to take them to two losses.
Clemson losing this weekend would be tremendous for us. Aside from say, Ohio State losing to Minnesota, or a giant asteroid hitting Tuscaloosa, it's the best possible result for us of any other game this weekend besides winning our own in strong fashion.
