My drive by ...

1. The committee did some things I like, some things I find crazy.

2. The net issue for Stanford versus my rosiest possible expectations is ONE somewhat unlikely scenario that hurts.

- There was never any way an undefeated Power 5 champ was going to be below us by the end (with I guess a tiny possibility for Iowa).
- Clearly one loss Alabama would beat us out for now - and would beat us out come the end game without extreme style points in our favor.
- My most optimistic view had us ahead of Florida. So, we're currently behind in a hypothetical match up with UF if both are one loss conferrence champs.

Otherwise, all is as it was before.
