And the import of BG steadily declines. It would have been if it turned out to be the game that decides the Pac12 north champ. I guess it still could though only as an elimination game for Stanford.

Well, the Bears are unfortunately going to be put in the position of spoiler -- and unlike in previous years, this year they're actually good enough to do it.  For some reason, a Bear team without much to play for besides ruining Stanford's chances at the playoffs scares me more than a Bear team actually playing for something.
