I would caution for now on drawing any firm conclusions based on one game in 2012.  Northwestern may be a harbinger, or it may be a severe outlier.

You mean we can't tell anything about our upcoming season based upon our 14-17 loss to UW in 2012 up in the Northwest?

More seriously, rather obviously the one game in 2015 doesn't tell us too much outside of the fact that we played one bad game in 2015. I give the FEI folks credit for not computing their stats yet. S&P+ is supposed to have strength of schedule taken into account - which is a problem even beyond small sample size.
