Wow, CT, thanks for the link! Not only do they have data going back to 2005, so that we get a year of pre-Harbaugh, but all the data is available on a downloadable Excel spreadsheet.

I would caution for now on drawing any firm conclusions based on one game in 20122015.  Northwestern may be a harbinger, or it may be a severe outlier.
