Oklahoma State has 34 NCAA wrestling championships

Many of the teams in the 4-10 positions seem to dominate one or two sports getting a large number of their titles in one discipline.

UNC has women\'s soccer
OK St has/had wrestling
Arkansas has/had men\'s cross country, indoor & outdoor track
Michigan has hockey
LSU has track too

If that certain violent sport that was semi-popular 100 years ago had an NCAA title, then C.a.l would be in the top 10 too.  Of course, if there was an NCAA title at stake other schools would actually field teams that almost certainly would become much better than C.a.l.  As it stands, C.a.l has most of their collection in men\'s water polo.

Only the top 3 really have big numbers in more than one type of sport.
