I like the tree in general. But I think it makes the logo look bad, and I can't put my finger on why.

The tree over the block S is reminiscent of $. Even so I like it. I would also like to see mixed uniforms, such as black pants with red jerseys. These deviations from tradition should only done when Stanford is a clear favorite though. If Stanford were to lose, then people would make an irrational connection with the uniforms. This would be of an exceedingly H.U-G.E. proportions mistake.
