embarrassing now

Other than Andrew’s, who’s leading this team with their play? Where is Harvey as the senior? Parks looks lost and setting off again.Yeah, I was groping.
Glad to see DeMaria in the game. Kurt was playing very poorly.
This doesn’t bode well for game at Penn State. That will be a true road game against an even better team.

We will beat a lot of teams this year with our talent. But quite simply against NCAA caliber teams, a team CANNOT be terminal with such poor and inconsistent setting. Yes i'm talking about Logan Parks.
Expecting a 0-3 loss at Penn State. It will be a much tougher environment and Penn State IMO is even better than A&M.

You've played this card a hundred times when Stanford loses on the East Coast. ENOUGH. I'm sick of reading about this excuse.

Maybe the issue isn't exactly East coast travel. But just travel and being away game in general. In other words, not like a physical exhaustion from travel flying east, but rather a mental lapse after some long travel and then being away at another venue, different locker room and court, different lighting, maybe a slightly different court feel, usually without friends or family or as much fan support, staying in a hotel instead of your bed, maybe too much A/C or heat, maybe mattress not comfortable, etc. etc. and then results in some lack of peak concentration and performance. In other words, consider if instead of flying east they had a 5 hour bus ride to play UC Santa Barbara, maybe a similar situation where they don't always bring their top concentration and energy?
This gets into the age old speculation of if there is, and when there is, a home field advantage, then why?

But I gotta add my personal story.
In the distant past I was getting paid to give two day seminars. Monday and Tuesday in one city. Either W-Th or Th-F in another. Did this for about two years. Many involved travel east. (Furthest was the UK.) I never figured out how to overcome jet lag. West to east is far more difficult than east to west.
