The Genesis of USC football -
Hulk01 - 12-02-2013
In a Tweet this afternoon, USC's former head football coach Ed Orgeron proclaimed that God built USCs football program.
Well, a few thoughts:
(1) Once again this year, God apparently slept through the UCLA and Stanford games;
(2) In his holy practice of looking after the meek, the Lord chose as the former coach's replacement Steve Sarkisian, the coach who perfected the five-loss season;
(3) Its hard to know why the Lord would have chosen for his team those two colors; ironically, they look like Hell together;
But perhaps there's a good explanation:
(4) The Lord created the program early on the first day, before there was light. In the light, He almost certainly would have noticed all the screw-ups;
(5 This proves conclusively that the Lord does indeed work in strange ways; and
(6) It seems certain that His first words, after surveying his finished product, must have been Let there by losses.

Their little "g" god is not one I pray to. That one is too busy getting indicted for tax fraud.

The tweet said: "GOD BUILT US TO LAST.
I LOVE YOU TROJAN NATION.
FIGHT ON !"Â
Orgeron seems to be referring to people's ability to endure disappointments. If so, I can't fault him. He must feel pretty bad. So must the $C players. I certainly have no love for the Trojan Nation, but I don't derive any pleasure from Orgeron's career failures.Â
I think $C football has origins similar to orcs.
Sarkisian has already proven what a first-class a-hole he is with his accusations of feigned injuries. I hope we beat him every year until he too is fired.

Their little g deity didn't sleep through the Stanford game ><;; But the UCLA game...now there was a lack of good fortune for $C.

For someone who was just tossed to the curb, that is a fairly admirable response.
And not only was the Trojan god not asleep during this year's Stanford game, I think he intercepted a pass.
Glad they hired Sarkiffin -

I was a little concerned that Haden would make a smart choice. Should've known, no way does that happen. I'm guessing Orgeron doesn't show for any of the other USC games. Wonder where he will end up?

HC of some random mid-major, in all likelihood.
