Overlooked during the Heisman watch...

...was the fact that Michigan ended Stanford's women's volleyball season at Maples the other night.

I didn't overlook it; it was just too depressing.

Countless shanked serve receives.  Bad passing.  Poor blocking.  And an utter collapse in the fourth game.  Every game started with a big Michigan push; it was like Stanford didn't even want to be on the court.

All in all, depressing.  Hoping the women's b-ball can win against a good Depaul team tomorrow afternoon, and the men can beat the unmentionables tomorrow night.

Wasn't overlooked, but what was there to say?

They were absolutely thrashed at home by a team that finished in the middle of the Big Ten.

It was not a great year for Pac-10 WVB, but I never guessed the tournament would be this bad for the conference.

Saw the GoStanford.com presser after the Heisman letdown.  Gah.  Tuned in to see Texas take out Nebraska in four sets; always fun to see the Cornhuskers lose.  I suppose I still have a horse in this race, but it's not the one I really want to see win it all.
