In the middle of a double double effort,
Quote: The Knicks took their biggest lead of the first half, 38-29, with a rare 5-point possession that began with a Ronny Turiaf layup and ended with a dazzling display of hustle and intuition by Fields. With Turiaf at the foul line, Fields - stationed behind the arc -began sprinting as the shot was released. Fields reached the basket just in time to put back the miss, draw a foul and send the crowd into a frenzy.http://mobile.nytimes.com/article?a=719868&f=27
Fields said he had tried the sneaky maneuver two previous times this season, but in both cases, the free throw was good.
"It just happened to come off perfect and it landed in my hands," Fields said. "I get some luck on my side with the bounce."
