I thought Landry Fields would do well enough to get rotation time in the NBA. I though his phenomenal ability to contribute without dominating the ball would earn him a roster spot for many years. Â I thought he was horribly undervalued by NBA scouts.
That said, I never thought he would be playing so well, so soon. Â The kid is a basketball savant.

Anyone see the Celtics-Knicks game last night? Â It\'s too bad that last Knicks shot was just after the buzzer...but Spike Lee was seen wearing a Landry Fields jersey.

I didn\'t realize that--Spike was bouncing around like a three-year-old hopped up on cotton candy and meth.
Landry played his usual subtle game: 6 pts, 6 boards, 2 stls. +8 plus/minus. Certainly chipped in with his share.

Yeah, he was going nuts before the review ruled the last shot after the buzzer, which is the only way I caught the back of his jersey on the Sportscenter segment. Fields was on the wrong end of a couple of highlights, but not getting any help on the transition defense sometimes puts the man with the best hustle in bad positions. Someone dropped Drew Gooden in my fantasy league. I kept Fields, dumped DeJuan Blair, and picked up Gooden. I think my only two bad decisions this year have been releasing Kris Humphries and Tyrus Thomas. The jury\'s out on keeping Troy Murphy from the autodraft. Hopefully someone trades for him from the Nets. Oh, and I just picked up Robin Lopez :)
