Some sloppiness, yes, but quite a strong effort by "the big three" tonight.  Nastic really brings an element of toughness and Randle is playing both ends of the floor.  Too bad they blew the UCLA game, but this is looking like a team that could make some noise in the NCAA tournament, especially when Travis is playing again.

Good game for the football recruits to see.  The announcers said Maples felt like it had energy tonight.

I've left the TV on following the game, and I had to do a double take on seeing Bright in a St Mary's uni. I had totally forgotten about his transfer. He's third in scoring (11.9 ppg) and 2nd in assists (4.2 apg) on a 14-3 team. I vividly remember the streak he had to take the team to the NIT championship. Not quite quick enough to overcome his small stature, but I appreciated his contribution. I hope they make the NCAA (as long as it doesn't take a spot from us). Would be fun if they met in the post season.
