Good start to the day. Proved I was still a bad-ass man by driving to work in roads covered with an inch and half of snow. Down heah in the Sunny South, that will earn you the Croix de Confederacy and an uninvited recounting of how the Army of Tennessee weathered the winter of 1863. More snow to come tomorrow. Surely we'll all perish. But my kids remembered and I got a cheery note from the Redrumette that it was warmer in the Montana Rockies than Alabama at the moment.Â

Serving food that would make most California nutritionists cringe. Alice Waters would have a grand mal seizure if she saw what they do to green beans. My wife's favorite restaurant because it's a trip in the Wayback Machine to her youth. Always a line waiting for lunch. So, how do you know about the Blue Plate?

I was kind of fading, like Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, then someone more decrepit than me, garvin, wished me happy birthday and just like in the show my light just started getting brighter and brighter . Good news for me, bad news for board admins everywhere, with their new fangled interweb feature thingees. Thanks to you all. I wish you all a better basketball season than Dawkins could deliver without my karmic ooomph.
