It's worth noting that Okereke is a finalist for the prestigious Watkins Award which recognizes athletic and academic excellence among African American football players across the country.  Past finalists have included Alex Carter, Wayne Lyons, David Yankey, James Vaughters, Remound Wright, Jamal-Rashad Patterson and Jemari Roberts.

(It's not an impressive website, though. The formatting is not consistent, and they do not have any data from last year, for example.)

It's not just football players, but it mostly is. And my personal opinion is that Stanford should recruit, admit and enroll every person on this list. (By the time the list is generated it's probably too late to start recruitment, but I'm sure that the criteria Stanford coaches are using is very similar to the criteria The Watkins Award uses, so a significant amount of overlap is not a surprise.)
