Cruising: With National Signing Day rapidly approaching on Feb. 5, football coach Willie Taggart is doing his best to impress. According to Josh Newberg of 247 Sports, USF’s latest recruiting weekend included a cruise on the three-story Yacht Starship and dinner at Hogan’s Beach, operated by wrestler Hulk Hogan.

Taggart said he can sign up to 31 players. USF has a verbal commitment from Sickles OT Zach Hudson, who earlier said he was going to Missouri. The bloodlines are excellent. Hudson is the grandson of legendary Chamberlain coach Billy Turner, who has the most victories of any coach in Hillsborough County history.

With former USF commitment Deiondre Porter switching to Florida, the Bulls have just one quarterback in their class, Quinton Flowers of Miami Jackson. 

That part sounds OK, but the article notes that USF will soon have a new AD, likely with a mission to raise money for an on-campus football stadium--in other words, someone without much patience.

USF's recruiting class seems pretty decent, but Taggart had better improve on a 2-10 record very, very quickly.

I would say that since laser tag is so much more legendary than bowling that gave us the edge.  But Gibbons didn't participate in the official class visit.

These idiots must not realize the enticements of South Beach are exactly what got them in trouble in the first place.
