Option A: Section 4, Row 1
These seats in between the 30 and 40, closer to the 30, which is great, but they're low. The first eleven rows at the Rose Bowl are lettered A through K, so we'd actually be in the 12th row. Last year we were about fifteen rows higher, and that seemed about perfect, so we're worried this might be too low. Has anyone sat in the Rose Bowl that low?
Option B: Section 28H, row 57
These are in the corner of the end zone, and pretty high up.
Any thoughts on this? I'd have to say that my inclination is to stay on the sidelines, but I'd love to hear from anyone with experience. I heard some complaints from some people last year about being too low, but I think that was from people who were literally in the front row.
GoodGrief posted a breakdown of Rose Bowl seats in another thread, here it is:

For many events and shows, a lot of people think the closer they are the better. Such is not the case on the gridiron. Theres 100-yards of field to follow the game on and being five rows from the field doesnt really offer the best of full vantage points. At the Rose Bowl, youre better off sitting in the last 21 rows (rows 56-77) than the first 15 rows. If youre somewhere in the middle nine rows (rows 16-24), youll have a decent view. Try looking into rows 46-55 which will give you a much improved view. The prime cluster of sections at the Rose Bowl are rows 24 to 45. That is where you really want to sit for the best experience. Dont even give a thought to the lettered rows. Lettered row seats are flat on the ground where you can expect to see camera men running back and forth in front of you. Sure, you might see a great play if youre in the end zone, but youll barely see the rest of the field. From the sidelines, your view will be no better than what players see from the bench. Youre likely to find us selling those to mortal enemies or customers wed rather not see come back!
Good Rows: 15-25, 56-77
Better Rows: 46-55
Best Rows: 25-45
Dont Even Consider Rows: 1-15, Lettered Rows
