Hank, I learned a lot too!  Including that Shaw led Stanford to a defeat in the SUGAR BOWL.  I could have sworn I was in Phoenix when Andrew Luck lost his last game.  Better fact check that one.  Regardless, like Publius, I'm an addict.

Unlike last week's JoeBruin, this Beaver wasn't that angry.  Seemed like a reasonable guy.

Instead, Shaw’s quiet confidence has permeated the program and instilled in everyone the solid belief that they belong amongst the elite teams in college football. I think that most Stanford fans recognize this, but there have been some fairly vocal critics. Most of those critics are concerned about Shaw’s play calling, and they’ll complain about how me managed the closing moments of the 2013 Sugar Bowl. -  Stanford Q&A from the Angry Beav site

Andrew Luck played his last collegiate game in 2012.

Clearly, Hank91 has blacked out the last few moments of the 2012 Fiesta Bowl, and is simply relying on what he's heard from others about the suppressed memory. It happens all the time in such cases.

I realized long ago that the people who follow a team with their hearts and minds know far more than those who are paid to do it. I'm guessing at least fifty members of  this board, for example, know more about Stanford football than Mr. Wilner. Additionally, I love the emotion that comes along with these. In the past I've reached out to beat writers who cover the teams, but their copy is far too cold and analytical. Boring.
