Having had two knee surgeries, my sense is that Brown's knee is weak. He's had three surgeries so he's going to be a little less explosive and a little more protective of that knee. If it were to be injured a 4th time, he would probably need to hang em up. It's never going to be 100%.Â
I like Brown and the intensity and physicality he brings to the court amidst a team of players that takes the lead of their "coach" and generally shows little emotion. He doesn't back down and shows strong leadership and court awareness. I feel for him along with Huestis, Powell and Randall as I think they are underachieving due to Dawkin's X O skills.  For me, it's make the tourney (NOT the NIT) or time for a change. Monty has made it three times in the last five years. Dawkins...Â

I haven't watched many games this year, but I did attend the UCLA game. There was one instance in particular where Brown took the ball to the rim, either on a fast break or slash in the lane, and had a layup that he barely got off in time before the defender swatted it away. Brown looked like he had a piano on his back when he "lifted" off the floor. I never saw Andy play before the knee injuries, but I can only imagine how bad his knees are now. There is little to no explosiveness left.
