Wish Taggart all the success in the world that doesn't entail beating us in some undetermined future. That said, S. Florida was a school that started its football program in the mid-90's and had lots of winning seasons under a charismatic first time coach, Jim Leavitt...who was fired for lying and inducing others to lie when the university investigated an incident when Leavitt reportedly struck a player in the locker room.  Since then, Skip Holtz has augured the program in, going 16-21. Maybe Taggart is the guy who can turn things around, but S. Florida only gave Skippy three seasons before firing him. Skippy took a good team and did worse every year. Taggart has a lousy team thin on talent and the stink of losing around it. Hate to see it happen to a nice guy, but wish him luck.

Disappointed. Taggart is a young guy who should have spent at least four or five years at his alma mater, imo, building a longlasting reputation there.
Yeah, USF is near where he grew up. But USF will chew him up and spit him out. Those Fla. schools not in the ACC or SEC are fools gold.
