Got in a surprisingly long argument with my wife this weekend about how "if our daughters get married, they are getting married during baseball season". I was at a couples wedding shower during the Stanford game.
(And I do realize the whole idea of "couples wedding shower" deserves its own seperate, angry thread.)

I was playing wedding ceremony music for my friend, couldn't let him down! Cool part was that the oldest brother of the bride is a Navy SEAL, and he came in his dress uniform. That SEAL emblem is a strong piece of metal. I also didn't have cell phone service out there (this was 2 hrs east of Austin on some rural roads). It was a nice break from the fast-paced life except for the missing football part.
I'm getting some help w/ the UCLA game thanks to this board, and I will do the same for anyone who needs something from my mostly complete game archive over the last couple of years.

This thread shows how women run the world. I wonder if a woman has ever given up attending a wedding so she could accompany her spouse/significant other to a football game.
