With the Pac-12/B1G challenge starting in 2017, that means we'd have 2 out of 3 OOC games scheduled for those years. Who gets the third, SJSU or ND?
Actually, aren't we supposed to be playing the second half of a home-and-home series with Rice in 2017? So forget SJSU. How are we going to fit Rice, Virginia, ND and a B1G-team-yet-to-be-named into 3 spots?

We're not actually scheduled to play Northwestern in 2017-2018. According to this site (and it sounds familiar) we're playing them in 2015-2016, and again from 2019-2022. We play Rice in 2016-2017, which means 2016 and 2017 are filled up, basically with Rice replacing SJSU. Maybe playing NW earlier gets us out of having to schedule them in 2017? Or maybe ND will be part of the B1G by then...

Since ACC/Eastern SEC country has been so important for Stanford recruiting, I like the idea of playing these ACC teams. That should be good for recruiting, as the staff can point to a game in the region for family and friends to attend.Â
I am not sure Stanford would get as much out of playing Minnesota, for example.
Besides by 2017 Notre Dame or Rice could easily be a member of BigTen (at that time Big14 or Big16).
