We are 5-13 on 3 pointers, with Bonnie hitting 3-5, to help extend the lead. Toni is playing well and she, Nneka, and Chiney all have 9 points each. It is great to see such even scoring from Joslyn and Bonnie joining the big 3.
Ca.l has done the full court press a few times and has gotten a couple of steals out of it. We have not really handled it very well so far. Let's hope to see improvement there in the second half.
Bonnie played very good defense when she was in.Â
It has not been easy getting the ball in to Nneka and Chiney, and hence the three point shot attempts, but we are getting it down low but not with regularity. We'll see if that can improve in the second half.
Boyd is 1-9. Not sure if we are playing great defense or if she is off or both. I doubt she can be kept down that way in the second half.
