Not a bad talk, otherwise, so I guess we'll forgive him that little transgression.
I do remember a number of years ago laughing over a Trojan commit who referred to his choice as "University of U$C". Doesn't seem quite so funny now.

Something deep and scary. Conspiracy theorists love to speculate about a covert CIA inside the CIA. Maybe there really IS a covert University of Stanford inside Stanford University and University of University of Southern California within the University of Southern California.... Hmmmm, would that mean the University of University of Southern California would currently be on double secret probation?

Wow! I knew that Garnett committing to Stanford was a big deal, but I had no idea that it was so big as to completely overshadow the other piece of news to come out of the press conference: Kobe Bryant is going to the Miami Heat! Garnett says so, right before he announces his plans. What a scoop... :)
He seemed a little...nervous [hence the whole University of Stanford thing], but he also seems...quite imposing.Â
If things continue to pan out, we may have to put that traditional, end-of-the-season thread of "what about next year's O-line?" angst on the shelf for a while.

Don't forget, Harbaugh nearly called us the University of Stanford is his first presser. He was probably thinking University of San Diego at the time, just as this young man may have been thinking about the University of Washington or something like that. You can tell the kid is bright and confident. Looking forward to seeing him play.Â
