Hmmm.... Did I miss a recent post on the settlement? (I thought about posting this under one of BC's "Who would have predicted this?")
Eddie Reese, former Texas swimming coach, has made a prediction in his objection filed to the NCAA House Settlement:
Reese is indeed a legendary coach: "46 years as the head coach of the Men’s Swimming and Diving Program where he led the team to 15 National titles". While his most recent NC was the same year as Tara's, his first was a decade earlier than her first. His longest NC drought was 8 years.
I appreciated this comment:
“Nobody is taking the side of the great majority of college athletes who just want to compete, including the thousands of swimming and diving athletes who will be cut, first individual and then when their entire team is eliminated.”
