I think that's wins against #2 (UCLA), #4 (USC), #6 (Cal Poly), and #10 (Long Beach St.)
No rest for the weary, we play USC, Loyal Marymount (currently #8), and TCU (#7) next week.

I was at the tournament in Laguna Beach today and watched Stanford vs USC. Exciting, high level volleyball. This is a long way from where things were back when Dunning was coaching.
There will probably be some bozo AVCA voter who votes Texas #1 in the upcoming poll. Based on past experience there are too many voters who vote for biased or personal reasons.
Has anyone noticed the beach X account has very minimal posts about the team?

SLO is about a 90-minute drive from where I live, and I've visited the area of number of times. Thursday night Farmers' Market is awesome:

Old San Luis BBQ is the place to go for a tri-tip sandwich, IMO.
SLO County is highly underrated as a place to visit, given that it's sandwiched between Monterey and Santa Barbara Counties.

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)

Put a glide in your stride and a dip in your hip.
Stanford vs USC underway. Not a great start: Trojans won the first set on four courts.

Stanford beat TCU 4-1.
The Cardinal will take on either Cal or Cal Poly (depending on the outcome of their dual) at 4:30 for third place in the tournament.
