Holding for the last shot does work. The other team doesn’t score either. Goodness that’s frustrating to watch playing for the last shot

We lead 60-52 heading into the last 10 minutes. Both offenses cooled off as shooting percentages dipped into the low to the mid 40's.
Belibi makes an appearance, but so far has played limited minutes and haven't made any impact yet.
Jerome having her best game of the season going 5/6 (4/5 from long range) for 14 points.
Why are we so bad at end of quarter/half situations? A shot clock violation there

Jerome on a three point rampage.
When I'm watching, it almost never works when a WBB team runs down the clock for the last shot of a quarter.

My theory about Belibi is that OSU is one way or the other just preventing points in the paint, and so we need all the three point shooters we can get. Prechtel would be perfect, but Jerome is having the game of her life tonight and keeping us in the game. Without her 4/5 three point shooting we would be in a bad way.
Clogging the paint is also putting a crimp on Jones's ability to drive.
It looks like we will live or die by the three. Let's hope we stay hot.

Jones and Belibi are getting to the basket a little, and we get our first free throws. Points in the paint are evening out a bit. Jones picked a good time to come alive in this game. Keep it up!
