I'd been thinking it's about 50-50 that FBS CFB will start a season this fall, but the way I see it the odds are growing longer.
Every major conference except *possibly* the Big12 is kicking the can down the road to delay making a decision. To me, this means that even in the SEC, the current level of covid-19 is simply too great to pretend that playing football can be done safely.
Will there be a significant case drop three-four weeks from now? That's what they're pinning their hopes on. But it seems just as likely that a return to campus living and learning that most (I think) state schools are planning on will lead to infection surges.
