It sure looks like L.A.County wants to open everything up, no matter what the disease is doing. Maybe, just maybe, the State Public Health Officer will rescind their attestation that they meet the state's criteria.

L.A. County's % positive testing data, as a weekly average, has climbed pretty steadily from 5.72% on May 7 to 8.08% on May 31. (8.0 or above for the week ending May 30 to latest numbers (June 6, 9.68% but that's partial results).)

Los Angeles County attested on May 28 (using data to May 24 for testing percentage) that they met the criteria. It appears they no longer do.

If the county makes insufficient or no progress, the State Public Health Officer may take action.
