Afraid this is but a minor ripple:
A. He was a Spring Game early commit who does appear to be flipping to his home town Toejams;
B. Ducks have gotten two recent verbals from high 4*s at the same position (DB/corner) and appear to have a couple more of that stature in in play.
Early signing is still 6 months away, so all is still rather speculative. Oregon seems to be making good progress in returning to recruiting California hard, but I think their volatility is still pretty high depending on their on-field performance this Fall. An indifferent season may cost them heavily with their higher ranked recruits, who - alas, will mostly flip to other non-Stanford Pac12 programs; e.g. UCLA, $C, ASU, AZ, UW, etc.
We seem to do pretty well head to head with the Ducks for kids who will be good fits for our program. No zero sum situation there, but for them and rest of Pac12, a lot more so.
