The NCAA bracket came out and we were seeded #3 behind #1 Penn State and #2 Florida.
Unfortunately, Texas was seeded #6 and placed in our quarter of the bracket. So a rematch from last year's national title game would be in the regional finals. The Longhorns will be primed for revenge and they have a lot of weapons back, so it will be tough for us to get back to the Final Four.
8 other Pac-12 teams were selected, so the conference is well represented, plus we have 4 other top-16 seeds: #8 Washington, #10 USC, #11 Utah and #15 UCLA as well as unseeded Oregon State, Oregon, Washington State and Colorado. Utah and Oregon State are in our quarter, but in the other half, where they would have to go through Texas to get to us.
We start off against CSU-Bakersfield, then winner of Michigan/Colorado State, then potentially #14 Iowa State or Wisconsin, who are unseeded this year (we had to rally from 2 sets down in the regional finals last year) before the rematch with #6 Texas.
#2 Florida or #7 Minnesota would be our national semi final matchup. On the other side, it would be #1 Penn State/#8 UW and #4 Kentucky/#5 Nebraska.
