I've got to agree here. This is going to screw them over yet again, somehow, if not this year then some time down the road. I don't know what the Big XII was thinking, or why the NCAA granted them a waiver, to have a championship game without conference divisions and with a complete round robin.
It looks like the Big XII overreacted to the situation in 2014, and I also think the committee dissembled when they left out both Big XII co-champions on the grounds that the conference wasn't crowning a true champion. That's why they SAID they left the Big XII out of the playoffs, but I think the real reason the Big XII teams got left out is that their OOC schedules were a pile of $#%&. Of course the championship game gives the Big XII champion another quality win, which notably vaulted eventual champion Ohio State into the 2014 playoffs.
