I'm genuinely curious as to the level of candor of Shaw and the other coaches were about his chances for success in the NFL draft.  To my eyes, his hands are weak, routes are suspect, can't block, bad running instincts.  But...he's got speed.  I don't think he would have even been a 7th round pick.
